Seeds For Change-Feel Good Voting
Voting Begins November 4!
The Co-op’s popular Seeds for Change round up program is entering its sixth year in 2025. Applications to participate in the program were accepted during the month of September and now it’s time for Members to vote for who they want to support and round up for in 2025. Members can vote for up to nine different organizations in store or online November 4 – November 17. Just like with regular Co-op elections, only one vote will be counted per membership.
Seeds for Change allows Co-op customers to round up their purchases to the nearest dollar, with those extra cents given directly to local organizations that are working to better our community. Each month, a different recipient receives the roundups collected in the store that month, ranging from $6,000-$13,800. In its first five years the Seeds for Change round up program will have donated over $430,000 to local non-profit organizations!
This program is a powerful way for the Co-op to engage its members and shoppers in fulfilling the international cooperative principle of caring for the community. On behalf of all participating organizations past, present and future, thank you for supporting our community.
